About Me

I grew up in Arizona and spent much of my adult life in San Francisco. Living alone in an unfamiliar place nudged me out of my comfort zone and into the parts of myself I’d been avoiding. At 25, after years of numbing and trying to outrun my pain, I finally called a therapist whose number had been saved in my phone for months. That call quietly set a new course for my life.

Meeting with my therapist every week gave me something I didn’t know I was missing: a steady, nonjudgmental space where I could slow down, untangle my emotions, and feel less alone. The therapeutic relationship helped me begin to notice the shame, self-doubt, and survival strategies I’d been carrying. That experience became the foundation for how I now show up for others.

Through my own healing work and years as a sponsor in recovery spaces, I’ve seen how many people, across different ages, carry unspoken burdens. Many of us experience feelings of perfectionism, shame, self-criticism, or the sense that we’re somehow “too much” or “not enough.”

I especially enjoy working with adults, young adults, and adolescents who are navigating life transitions, inner conflict, or big emotions. Together, we’ll gently explore what’s beneath the surface, honoring what’s helped you get this far while creating room for more self-trust, clarity, and ease. In session, I bring warmth, humor, and grounded curiosity. I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work techniques, somatic practices, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness to help clients build a kinder, more connected relationship with themselves.

Outside the office, I’m most likely birdwatching, treasure hunting at thrift stores, or hanging out with my (very opinionated) senior pug. Most recently, I have been navigating the growth experience of adult braces and embracing all the vulnerability that comes with it!
