About Me
From a young age, I was captivated by the intricate emotional and relational dynamics within my family. Familial struggles with addiction, mental health issues, and the pressure to keep those challenges within our extended family shaped my understanding of the world. Later, in my teaching career, I saw similar patterns in the families of my students, deepening my wonderment about how families process trauma and navigate life’s transitions. This fascination led me back to studying the relationship dynamics that first captured my attention, and I realized that at the heart of a healthy life are the relationships we build with ourselves and others.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with families, from those with young children to those with grown children, as well as children, teens, and individuals. I’ve become especially drawn to how couples—the core of the family—face personal and shared challenges, growing together through these experiences. Additionally, I help individuals navigate trauma, guiding them to explore and heal from past wounds. I approach trauma with sensitivity and care, knowing how past experiences can shape present relationships and well-being.
Together, we foster growth, empowerment, and connection, supporting each client’s unique path to healing and fulfillment. My work is rooted in creating a safe, compassionate environment where clients can break free from unhealthy patterns and cultivate resilience.
